| Help with the
Slideshow |
| The Slideshow is an Adobe Flash-based facility that allows you to view the photographs from the current gallery full-screen with disolves between each photo. Here we will cover two key points: How to navigate within the slideshow and what to do if the slideshow doesn't appear: |
|
The screen is blank or says 'Press ESC to Exit Full Screen Mode' and no slideshow ever appears! Check two
things:

|
Navigating the Slideshow: The slideshow will progress automatically. You can, however, navigate within the show. It starts by moving your mouse over the photos in the slideshow. This will make the slideshow control appear semi-transparently above the photos. There are three main controls:
Once you stop moving your mouse for a few seconds, the slideshow navigation controls will fade away. You can bring them back at any time by moving the mouse over the photo again. Return to Help Menu |
| Viewing Pictures |
From the Gallery View, you can view all the photographs in a gallery. By clicking on the thumbnail at the left, an enlarged photo will appear on the right. This layout will dynamically change to make the best use of the size of your screen, so the number of thumbnails and the size of the photo on the right will differ from computer to computer. |
|
If all the photos cannot fit on a single page, multiple pages of thumbnails will be created. You can navigate through the pages of thumbnails by clicking on the navigation bar found above the photos. On the left of the navigation bar, Click the You can also jump to a specific page of thumbnails by pausing your mouse directly over the little down arrow in the circle (found after the 4 in the photo above). This pops up a direct page selection where you can click on a specific page number and jump to that set of thumbnails. |
|
When viewing a photograph on the right side of Gallery View, you will have several options as well. By pausing your mouse over the photograph on the right side of the gallery view, the photograph fly-out menu will appear: If you see the 'Save Photo' option at the bottom of the menu, the photo may be downloaded to your computer at no charge! |

| Buying Enlargements and Photo Gifts |
| Photographs may be purchased
through the
website. This is done while viewing the photographs in the
Gallery View (see viewing
photos). Purchasing photographs requires two steps:
|
|
Buying an indivdual photograph With the photograph selected and visible on the right side of the gallery view, press the 'Buy: This Photo' link found above the photograph This adds the photo to your cart. You have not yet purchased the photograph. Continue to add photographs to your cart in this way. When you are ready to select the size of the enlargements or to select specific photographic gifts / products, click on the 'View Cart' link. This will take you to the shopping cart. |
|
Buying Multiple Photos You can also choose to select several photos for your shopping cart without having to view each one individually. This is done by selecting the 'multiple photos' link. The mulitple purchase page will load: After you've selected all the photos from the gallery, press the 'To Cart' button, located on the top left of the screen. You will be brought to the shopping cart to continue. |

Cropping as needed |
| There are times when cropping a
photograph
will be needed. You can leave it up to us; we inspect every
photograph to determine if cropping will improve the result; or you can
use the shopping cart 'Adjust Crop' button to do it yourself.
When you click on the 'Adjust' link next to the photo, the
adjust image screen is shown. Clicking and dragging the small rectangle in the lower right corner of the cropped area will change the size of the clear rectangle - however, it will always retain the proportions of the target product. |
